Tata Motors Total CV Sales Decreased By 10% in November 2022

The company's export sales also experienced a decrease of 3% in the truck sales data of November 2022. 

Tata Motors, one of India's most prominent commercial vehicle manufacturers, has released the sales report for November. In this truck sales figures 2022, the company has shown the sales by category and domestic and export. They sold 29,053 commercial vehicles in November, with a fall of 10%, as the sold units were 32,345 in the same month last year.

M&HCV:- 

The M&HCV segment ended the month with a good run and experienced a growth of 42% in sales in November 2022. The segment sold 8,879 units this November, whereas the numbers were 6,266 in the same month last year. Tata holds a good reputation in this segment with the LPT and prima series or M&HCVs. 

I&LCV:-

The Intermediate and Light Commercial Segment experienced a decline in truck sales in India. The brand sold 5,099 units in November last year, whereas they sold 3,462 units in November 2022. As a result, this segment's sales went down by 32%. 

Passenger Carriers:- 

Tata Motors has created a good market share in the Passenger Carriers' commercial vehicle segment. The Tata Winger series has a good impact on customers with its durability. The segment sold 2,041 units in the November 2022 sales report, whereas they sold 1,183 units in the same month last year. As a result, the sales increased by a huge margin of 73%. 

SCV & Cargo Pickup:-

The brand also disclosed the SCV & Cargo Pickup sales of Tata Motors in the sales report of November 2022. They sold 13,048 SCV & Cargo Pickup units last month, with a decline of 17% against the 15,747 units in November 2021. 

Tata Motors' truck sales in India stand at 27,430, with a decrease of 3% compared to the previous sales of 28,295 units. 

And if we look at the export sales of the company then also we can see a decline in sales. For example, the company sold 1,623 commercial vehicles in the international market in November 2022 compared to the 3,950 units in the previous year.
