VE Commercial Vehicles Records September 2024 Sales of 6,264 Units

Eicher CV sales increased by 1.79% in September 2024, with 5,977 units sold.

VECV, a partnership of Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, experienced 2.60% growth in commercial vehicle (CV) sales in September 2024. The total number of VECVs sold in September 2024, including domestic and export sales, was 6,264, compared to 6,105 units in September 2023.

In September 2024, Eicher Trucks saw a 1.79% increase in overall commercial vehicle sales compared to September 2023. Domestic sales also dropped by 1.48%, with 5,588 units sold, down from 5,672 units in the same month last year.

Segment-Wise Sales:

The LD Trucks and LMD (3.5-18.5T) segment sold 3,546 CV units in September 2024, which closed with 3,817 CV units in September 2023. This resulted in a 7.10% loss in sales.
In addition, the Heavy Duty (>18.5T) segment's sales increased by 10.01%. This segment sold 2,042 units of CVs in September 2024, compared to 1,855 units last September.

Explore Sales Data:

The LMD segment of Export Eicher Truck sales data for September 2024 shows an increase of 106.32%. This segment completed sales of 359 CV units in September 2024, compared to 174 CV units in September 2023.
Additionally, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand also saw an increase in sales. In September 2024, the segment sold 30 units of CVs in exports, compared to 26 units in the same month last year, a 15.38% growth.

Overall, the Export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for September 2024 showed sales of 389 CV units, compared to 200 units in September 2023. The sales increased by 94.50% year over year.

Volvo Truck Performance:

Volvo Trucks experienced a 23.20% increase, selling 287 units in September 2024, up from 233 units in September 2023.

Overall, VECV, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, sold 6,264 CV units in September 2024. The brand recorded an increase of 2.60%, as the number of units sold in September 2023 was 6,105.
