VECV Reports a 3.7% Sales Boost in Nov 2023, Selling 4,333 Units

Eicher Trucks sold 4,128 units of commercial vehicles, recording a 3.41% rise in November Y-O-Y sales.

VECV, the joint venture of Volvo Trucks & Eicher Trucks, has experienced a hike in its commercial vehicle sales. The total domestic sales of Eicher are 3,936 units of CV in November 2023, compared to 3,845 units in November 2022. As a result, the brand closed the month with 2.37% growth in November Y-o-Y sales.

The total sales of Eicher VECVs in November 2023 were 4,333 units, compared to 4,175 units in Nov 2022. This resulted in a growth of 3.78% overall, including domestic and international sales.

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 2,579 CV units in November 2023, which closed with 2,526 CV units in November 2022. It resulted in a 2.10% growth in sales. In addition, the Heavy Duty segment grew by 2.90% in sales. This segment sold 1,357 units of CVs on Nov 23, compared to 1,319 units last November.

The sales of Volvo trucks took a giant leap, experiencing a growth of 12%. The sold units of this brand were 183 in November 2022, which ended in November 2023 with 205 sold units.

The export Eicher Truck sales data for November 2023 shows an increase of 63.70%. The LMD segment completed sales of 167 CV units in November 2023, against the 102 CV units of November 2022.

On the other hand, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand experienced a drop in sales. The segment sold 25 units of CV in exports in November 2023, which was 45 units in the same month last year. It resulted in a 44.4% fall in sales.

The export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for November 2023 showed sales of 192 CV units, against 147 units in November 2023. The sales increased by 30.61% in November Y-o-Y.

Overall, VECV, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, sold 4,333 CV units in Nov 2023. The brand recorded a growth of 3.78%, as the units sold in November 2022 were 4,175.
