Nitin Gadkari Flags Off First Eicher Pro 6055 LNG Trucks at Nagpur’s New LNG Station
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a partnership between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has made a big step towards greener transportation. They signed an agreement to supply 500 Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks to Baidyanath LNG. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, flagged off the first batch of these eco-friendly trucks. The event took place during the inauguration of a new B-LNG station in Nagpur.

Eicher Pro 6055 LNG Truck Details
The Eicher Pro 6055 LNG truck is built with modern engine technology from Volvo Group. It features a powerful VEGX8 6-cylinder engine, producing 260 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. With dual LNG tanks, the truck can cover up to 1,100 km, making it perfect for long-distance transport.
The truck also focuses on driver comfort, with a high-tech cabin that includes HVAC and an air-suspended seat, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. This enhances driver productivity and makes long trips easier.
Smart Technology and Support Network
VECV's Uptime Centre connects all Eicher trucks, including the Pro 6055 LNG, and uses AI and machine learning for predictive diagnostics. The 'My Eicher' fleet management app allows users to track performance in real time.
Eicher’s support network is also extensive, with 850 service points across India, including 425 authorized service centres and 8,000 retail locations. The company also provides 'Eicher Site Support' at 240 locations, ensuring assistance is always available.
