Ashok Leyland Sold 13,025 CV Sales Units in the Domestic Market

The top Indian producer of commercial vehicles, Ashok Leyland, recently released its January sales data, which showed a 12.07% drop in total sales in both the domestic and export markets.

The firm sold 13,025 commercial vehicles in January 2023, a 14.36% decrease from 15,209 units in the domestic market. Significantly, export sales increased by 247.76% from January 2023 to January 2024, with 466 units sold as compared to 134 in the previous year.

Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Sales Report, January 2024, saw a sales drop of 17%. It sold 7,581 units, compared to 9,119 units in January 2023. As a result, this CV manufacturer witnessed a decrease in sales in the M&HCV truck segment.

Further, the LCV category reported sales of 277 units in January 2024, compared to 60 units in Jan 2023. The brand recorded an impressive sales growth of 361.67% in the LCV category.

Furthermore, it experienced a sales surge with a remarkable 155.41% growth in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 189 units in January 2024, compared to 74 units in Jan 2023.
