Ashok Leyland's Impressive 4.42% Growth in Domestic Sales, Aug 23

Ashok Leyland Reported 13,241 CV Sales Unit in the Domestic Market

Ashok Leyland is one of major Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers. The Ashok Leyland CV Sales Report for August 2023 was just made public. It had seen an overall 4% growth in sales across the domestic and export sectors. 

Ashok Leyland CV Sales recorded a total sales of 13,241 units in this period, compared to 12,681 units in Aug 2022. The company ended August with a 4.42% sales increase in the domestic market. However, it faced rapid sales growth of 2.07% in the export market.

Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Sales Report, August 2023, saw a sales increase of 4.42%. It saw sales of 13,241 units, compared to 12,681 units in Aug 2022. This company had a rise in sales in the segment of M&HCV Trucks. 

Furthermore, its LCV category has also experienced a 2% increase in sales. The brand sold 7,709 M&HCV, compared to 7,051 in Aug 2022. The LCV segment recorded a sale of 5,532 units in Aug 2023, compared to 5,630 units in August 2022.

According to the August Ashok Leyland Export Commercial Vehicle Sales Statistics 2023, an impressive sales increase of 2.07% was seen. 394 units were sold in Aug 2023, compared to 386 in August 2022. The brand noticed a remarkable sales growth of 150.0% in the LCV category.

However, it faced a sales decline of 58.70% in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 113 units in August 2023, compared to 274 in Aug 2022. The LCV category reported sales of 281 units in Aug 2023, compared to 112 units in August 2022.

Commercial Vehicle Gross (Domestic + Export) Sales Data, August 2023

Ashok Leyland Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales Figures Aug 2023 experienced a slight sales increase of 4%. It observed sales of 13,635 units in August 2023, compared to 13,067 in August 2022. The company registered a slight sales increase of 7% in the M&HCV category. 

However, the brand experienced 1% growth in the financial year of  LCV for Aug 2023. Under the M&HCV Truck category, 7,822 CVs were sold in Aug 2023, compared to 7,325 CVs in August 2022. Within the LCV category, 5,813 CVs were sold in August 2023, compared to 5,742 CVs in Aug 2022.
