BharatBenz Launches ‘Rakshana’ Customers Uptime Assurance Program

Rakshana Program Assures Customers of Trucks & Buses Service Within 48 Hours

On 14th March 2023, Daimler India Commercial Vehicle (DICV) introduced an industry-leading uptime assurance program named BharatBenz Rakshana. It aims at helping customers of BharatBenz Trucks and Buses for achieving business profitability. This uptime assurance program commits to cater for servicing and delivering within 48 hours. The Rakshana program is a value-added feature in BharatBenz haulage trucks, tippers, trailers and others. These products ensure timely delivery of services with an active powertrain warranty at the sale’s time. 

Since its inception, BharatBenz has earned a reputation as one of the most respected truck brands in the Indian commercial vehicle industry. DICV, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, is known for its safe vehicles, stellar engineering, and uptime guarantee. The dealerships and service stations of the brand are strategically located on major national and state highways. They provide convenience and flexibility to all types of customers. The company has more than 300 touch points across the country, covering national highways on the Golden Quadrilateral. They extend with North-South and East-West Corridors to access customers within two hours. BharatBenz Trucks have the safest crash-tested body cabins in the country, meeting the highest safety standards as per European cab-crash regulations. In addition, the brand has started the Rakshana program, which covers running repairs, scheduled services, and vehicle breakdown cases. 

Official Statement On The Introduction Of BharatBenz Rakshana Program

Mr. Rajaram K, BharatBenz's Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, stated, "At BharatBenz, we are constantly working to improve our customers' experiences. With the launch of Rakshana, we are taking a step forward in our customer service commitment to enhancing our customers' business productivity and profitability. We are also increasing the efficiency of our technicians to upskill and reskill through BharatBenz Regional Training Centres. This provides the best roadside assistance and services in the industry at our touchpoints. To address our growing customer base across India, we plan to increase touchpoints and service bays by 13% and 17%, respectively, by December 2023."

Over 98% of trucks and buses that visit BharatBenz service centres are serviced and returned to customers within 48 hours. However, if the service delivery time exceeds 48 hours, the company will compensate the customer in accordance with the Rakshana programme terms and conditions. The Rakshana Program is thus one of the most distinctive customer service initiatives in the Indian commercial vehicle industry. The compensation for the service's late completion will be a percentage of the service's cost.
