E-RICKSHAW(P) segment showed a growth of 154.25% in the commercial vehicle sales of August 2022.
FADA(Federation Of Automobile Dealership) has released the sales data for the commercial vehicle sector, and all the categories have registered good growth. The total no. of commercial vehicles sold in August 2022 was 1,23,471 units, with an increase of 45.50%, as the units sold in August 2021 were 84,855.
The sales of the 3-Wheeler category went up by 83.14% as it sold 56,313 units in August 2022 compared to the 30,748 units in August 2021. In addition, all 3-Wheelers also closed with good sales numbers according to the FADA 3-Wheeler sales report.
E-RICKSHAW(P):- The E-Rickshaw segment is right now increasing at a good pace and is also visible in the sales report. This category closed the month with a 154.25% growth as the sold units were 28,306 in August 2022 and 11,133 in August 2021.
E-RICKSHAW WITH CART (G):- This segment sold 1,383 units in August 2022, with an increase of 51.81%, as the units sold in August 2021 were 911.
THREE WHEELER (GOODS):- The sales of Three Wheeler Goods decreased by 1% as sold units in August 2021 was 6,073, and it went down to 6,012 in the sales report of August 2022.
THREE WHEELER (PASSENGER):- Three Wheeler Passenger is one of the highest growth categories in every sales report. This time it also increased by 63.38% in August 2022. The sales units of this category stood at 20,557, which was 12,582 units in August 2021.
THREE WHEELER (PERSONAL):- Three Wheeler Personal category sold 55 units in August 2022 compared to the 49 units in August 2021. As a result, the sales of this category increased by 12.24%.
The categories of Commercial Vehicles also rose by a good percentage compared to the August 2021 sales and August 2020 sales data. Similarly, according to the FADA commercial vehicles sales report, the CV sector experienced a growth of 24.12% as they sold 67,158 units in August 2022, while the units sold in August 2021 were 54,107.
The sales of LCV, MCV, HCV and other categories are following.
LCV:- The LCV segment sold 41,311 units in August 2022, an increase of 17.22% compared to the 35,243 units in August 2021.
MCV:- MCV sales of August 2022 experienced an increase of 44.97% as the sold units of this category were 4,320, which was 2,980 units in the sales report of August 2021.
HCV:- HCV category registered an upward trend in sales with an increase of 50.44% in August 2022. According to the sales report, the sold units of August 2022 closed at 18,996 units which were 12,627 in August 2021.
The other segment closed the month with 2,531 sold in August 2022, which were 3,257 units in August 2021. As a result, the sales of this category went down by 22.29%
