FADA 3-Wheeler Retail Sales Show 1.63% Increase in August 2024
In August 2024, the retail sales of FADA 3-wheelers rose modestly by 1.63%, indicating a stable growth pattern in the market.
According to the latest FADA retail sales data for August 2024, sales of 3-wheeler vehicles saw a slight increase of 1.63%. TVS Motors led the market with a remarkable 45.77% growth, while Atul Auto recorded a 22.28% rise in sales.
FADA shared sales figures for 3-wheeler OEMs for August 2024, indicating a rise in sales for several brands. The group's total sales increased slightly to 105,478 units, up from the 103,782 units reported in August 2023. This signifies a slight increase of 1.63% in the 3-wheeler segment.

Bajaj continues to be one of the top three-wheeler OEMs in the market. The August 2024 FADA three-wheeler report revealed Bajaj's sales of 37,760 units, up from 36,328 units in August 2023. Consequently, the brand experienced a growth rate of 3.94%.
Piaggio
As per the FADA report on three-wheeler sales, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. experienced an 11.62% decrease in sales, selling 7,378 vehicles in August 2024 compared to 8,348 units in August 2023.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group
Mahindra experienced a 6.36% decrease in retail sales in August 2024. To substantiate, it sold 6,130 units in August 2023, which decreased to 5,740 in August 2024.
Y.C. Electric
The Y.C. Electric brand sold 3,794 units in August 2024, a 4.84% decrease from the 3,987 units sold in August 2023.
Saera Electric Auto Pvt Ltd
This brand sold 2,806 three-wheelers in August 2024, compared to 2,856 units in the same month last year. Henceforth, Saera Electric Auto Pvt Ltd decreased its sales by 1.75%.
Atul Auto
This 3-wheeler company's retail sales report increased by 22.28%. Atul Auto sold 2,102 units in August 2024, compared to 1,719 in August 2023.
Dilli Electric Auto Pvt Ltd (Citylife)
Citylife, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt Ltd, closed the month with a loss. The brand sold 2,207 commercial vehicles in August 2024, compared to 2,720 units in August 2023, experiencing an 18.86% sales dip.

The brand's sales slightly decreased by 5.01%, selling 1,271 units in August 2024 compared to 1,338 units in August 2023.

The brand's sales saw a decline of 19.14%, with 1,170 units sold in August 2024 compared to 1,447 units in August 2023.
J. S. Auto (P) Ltd
This company sold 1,091 units in August 2024, which is a slight decrease of 1.00% from the 1,102 units sold in August 2023.
