Godawari Electric Motors Launches Eblu Cety Electric Rickshaw for City Environments
September 09, 2024, Raipur: Godawari Electric Motors launched the Eblu Cety electric rickshaw at ₹1,99 Lakh on World EV Day. The Eblu Cety has 100 bookings already secured. Further, the electric rickshaw provides a 12-month/20,000 km warranty, with an extended 3-year or 80,000 km warranty. This latest electric rickshaw is designed to offer a sustainable and efficient transport solution for city environments.
The Director & CEO of Godawari Electric Motors, Hyder Khan, emphasized the company's dedication to promoting green public transport. He highlighted the importance of making sustainable transportation accessible to help achieve carbon-neutral mobility in the future.
What to Expect? Specs & Features
Eblu Cety is powered by a Li-Ion battery with a voltage of 51.2V and a capacity of 100Ah. The battery supports a peak power of 1.6 kW and peak torque of 20 Nm.
The electric rickshaw features a compact design with a wheelbase of 2170 mm, width of 993 mm, length of 2795 mm, and height of 1782 mm. It also boasts a ground clearance of 240 mm, making it suitable for a variety of urban surfaces.
The electric rickshaw suspension system features a dual front fork with telescopic shock absorbers and a leaf spring setup at the rear. A mechanical drum brake system and stable 3.75x12 inch 4PR tyres enhance safety.
The vehicle includes a regenerative braking system, which improves energy efficiency and gradeability when handling different inclines. The electric rickshaw offers both forward and reverse driving modes, ensuring easy manoeuvrability. It also comes with ergonomic seating and optional navigation features.
For added convenience, the Eblu Cety includes a home charger that can fully charge the battery in about 4 hours and 30 minutes. In terms of performance, the electric rickshaw reaches speeds of up to 25 km/h and has a driving range of about 95 km on a single charge.
The Eblu Cety electric rickshaw will be available in Godawari Electric Motors showrooms across India.
