Isuzu Motors India has introduced its new D-MAX Ambulance, priced at INR 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). This fully equipped ambulance is designed to meet the needs of healthcare providers in India and adheres to AIS-125 Type C standards. With this launch, Isuzu aims to enhance patient transportation by offering improved speed, safety, and comfort.
Key Features of the Isuzu D-MAX Ambulance
The Isuzu D-MAX Ambulance is powered by a robust 1.9-litre 4-cylinder VGS Turbo intercooled engine, generating 120 kW of power at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 360 Nm between 2,000-2,500 rpm. This ensures a powerful performance for emergency medical services.
Built on the reliable Isuzu iGRIP platform, the vehicle provides stability on both smooth urban roads and rough rural terrains. Its Hi-Ride suspension and double wishbone system enhance ride comfort, making the cabin experience smoother for both the driver and passengers.
