18 September 2024, Chennai: Isuzu Motors India launches new D-MAX 1.7 Cab-Chassis variant, starting at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant allows the construction of the cab to a specific load-body on your requirement. Perfect for businesses in FMCG, food catering, and last-mile deliveries, the pickup offers adaptability.

According to Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, "The new D-MAX 1.7 Cab-Chassis Std variant expands our product range to meet different business needs. It offers customers flexibility in choosing their load-body configuration to suit their specific requirements."

Key Highlights of New D-MAX Cab-Chassis

The D-MAX 1.7 Single Cab is fitted with a 2.5-litre ISUZU 4JA1 Engine. The pickup body design on its exterior and interior side has become a variant of passenger cars. The seats have fabric covers along with adjustable seat belts according to the height of the drivers. Further, the vehicle has a Multi-Information Display (MID) cluster that has a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI) for the proper gear selection of drivers as per the road conditions.

The D-MAX 1.7 Single Cab is built on an iGRIP chassis with a high-tensile steel cab. Independent coil springs are used in the front suspension, and rigid leaf springs in the rear.  

The safety features include front and rear crumple zones, a cross-car front beam and door-side intrusion protection. Also, it has an enabling collapsible steering column and underbody steel protection for the drivetrain. A new feature on the D-MAX range is the Brake Override System (BOS). It cuts engine power if the brake and accelerator pedals are pressed simultaneously.
