JBM Auto has launched its first self designed and self manufactured electric luxury coach “Galaxy” at the Auto Expo 2023. JBM Auto is a flagship firm of the $2.2 billion JBM Group. Moreover they also showcased its new series of its Electric- Buses, including city bus, staff bus and school bus.
As the company is expanding the portfolio of electric vehicles. The Vice Chairman of JBM Auto Mr Nishant Arya said the brand will grow “Exponentially” in the next few years.
"The new range of electric buses will address the growing market requirements, especially the fleet owners, who are looking for sustainable, safe, reliable and profitable solutions, JBM group is the only player in the Indian market to offer an entire EV ecosystem and is committed to investing in green mobility solutions,"
Although the price of these vehicles are not revealed in the event. Currently there are 1,000 JBM electric buses in 12 states of India. JBM Auto is also investing in upgrading the manufacturing capacity and settling new units for the increasing demand of electric vehicles. “Galaxy” is a 12 Metre long bus which has a seating capacity of 45 passengers. In addition it comes with a lithium-ion battery providing a range of 1,000 kilometres per day.
