Jupiter Electric Mobility plans to deliver the E-CV range in India with its debut, establish good services in the market, and expand it to aftersales requirements for a smooth experience.
Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL), one of the biggest manufacturers of wagons and braking systems, is ready to debut in the CV segment. The company is also famous for manufacturing brake discs for high-speed passenger coaches and railway and engineering equipment. They plan to debut at the Auto Expo 2023 with their first Electric Commercial Vehicle, an LCV.
This May, the brand announced its foray into the CV segment with the launch of “Jupiter Electric Mobility”. In addition, JWL has formed a joint venture with Canada’s GreenPower Motors to get better in this segment, which specialises in the ECVs.
The vehicle will come under the LCV category, and the weight range starts from 2.2 tonnes to 7 tonnage range. The brand aims to manufacture Electric Commercial Vehicles in India and service facilities in the market. And then expand itself to aftersales requirements for smooth customer service.
