Mahindra & Mahindra Reports 89.00% Growth in Export CV Sales and 10.03% Increase in Domestic Sales
Mahindra & Mahindra, a key player in the commercial vehicle sector, displayed robust growth in October 2024. The LCV 2T - 3.5T segment was particularly impressive, with a 17% increase in sales, strengthening Mahindra’s presence in the heavier segments of the commercial vehicle market.
In October 2024, Mahindra's domestic commercial vehicle sales rose by 10.03%, with units sold increasing from 35,117 in October 2023 to 38,638 in October 2024. This uptick underscores Mahindra’s resilience and adaptability in a competitive market.
October 2024 Sales Breakdown by Segment
LCV < 2T
This category recorded a total of 3,935 units in October 2024, a 9% decline from 4,335 units in October 2023.
LCV 2T–3.5T
The LCV 2T - 3.5T segment experienced a significant boost, with sales growing by 17% to reach 23,893 units, compared to 20,349 units in October 2023.
LCV > 3.5T + MHCV
In the LCV > 3.5T + MHCV category, Mahindra sold 984 units, marking a slight decrease of 5% from the previous year's 1,031 units.
3-Wheelers (Including Electric 3Ws)
The 3-wheeler segment, including electric 3-wheelers, continued its upward trend with a 5% increase in sales, reaching 9,826 units in October 2024 compared to 9,402 units in October 2023.
Export Sales Performance for October 2024
Mahindra's export sales for commercial vehicles soared by an impressive 89%, with 3,506 units sold in October 2024, up from 1,854 units in October 2023. This increase showcases Mahindra’s expanding global reach and its strategic foothold in international markets.
