Mahindra added a new feather in its ongoing Alfa series; Alfa CNG launched in cargo and passenger in Delhi.
On Tuesday, Mahindra Electric Mobility LTD, Part of the Mahindra & Mahindra, launched the new Alfa CNG in Cargo and Passenger variants, adding them to their popular Alfa series. The Alfa Passenger DX BS6 is priced at Rs. 2,57,000 and the cargo variant Alfa load plus priced at 2,57,800, (ex-showroom).
Engineered with the 395 CC water-cooled engine, which can generate 23.5 NM peak torque and 20 NM torque at loads at low speed. In addition, The 0.90 MM of sheet metal thickness provides added safety while driving off-road or on rugged surfaces. In the mileage test, Alfa DX BS6 delivered 40.2 KM/ KG and Alfa load plus showed 38.6 KG /KM, done by ARAI.
The owners of Mahindra Alfa Passenger and Cargo can save in huge chunks. The company claims that these vehicles can save up to Rs. 4,00,000 in next 5 years compared to standard diesel cargo 3- Wheelers. These vehicles are going to be available in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
On the launch occasion, the CEO of Mahindra Electric Mobility LTD, Mr Suman Mishra, stated that “The launch of new Alfa CNG Cargo and Passenger makes us a full range player by offering our customers multiple options including electric, diesel and CNG to meet their different mobility needs. With the increasing density of CNG stations in some parts of India, the Alfa Cargo and Passenger will be an excellent choice for those looking at huge savings.”
