Altigreen crossed the mark of 300 vehicle sales in August 2023 for the first time in India.
The electric three-wheeler giant Mahindra & Mahindra sold the highest number of E3Ws and topped the sales chart in August. The brand registered sales of 3201 electric 3-wheeler units in India. Whereas, in July 2023, the sold units were 3064, leading the position from the last 5 months. However, the month-on-month growth of this brand has slowed down a little bit.
Piaggio stayed at the 2nd position with 1917 electric 3-wheeler units in August 2023. Its month-on-month growth decreased compared to the 1968 units it sold in July 2023.
Altigreen, one of the fastest-growing 3-wheeler brands, has replaced the well-established Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM). The brand became India's 3rd most-selling E3W OEM, selling 326 vehicles.
In contrast, the numbers in July 2023 for Altigreen were 172 units. Also, it is the first time Altigreen has crossed the mark of 300 vehicle sales in India. The brand is operating a portfolio of E3Ws in India and is planning to launch its first passenger electric 3-wheeler this month.
Whereas, the OSM completed sales of 267 units of electric 3-wheelers in August 2023. In July, the sales of this brand were 344 units. Since its origin, OSM has never raised any external funds and sold more than 8,000 units.
Euler Motors also experienced a decline of 38 units from last month. The brand sold 244 units of Electric 3-wheeler in August 2023 and 282 units in July 2023.
Atul Auto increased its sales from 150 units in July 2023 to 232 in August 2023. Kinetic Energy also increased the registrations from 41 in July 2023 to 231 in August 2023.
