The Maruti Suzuki brand has released its latest CNG Cab Chassis Variant and sold 1,58,000 units since its Launch
Maruti Suzuki India today introduced the upgraded Super Carry Mini Truck. Super Carry is the only commercial vehicle of Maruti Suzuki in India. This mini truck comes with Petrol Deck, Petrol Cab Chassis, and CNG Deck. Now, this light commercial vehicle has been upgraded with a new CNG cab chassis variant. The model is powered by 1.2 litre K series dual jet, dual VVT engine. Its 4-cylinder engine offers 59.4 KW (78 BHP) at 6000 RPM and 104.4 NM maximum torque at 2900 RPM in Petrol fuel type. In its comparison, the existing Super Carry delivers 54 KW power and 98 NM torque.
This new BS6 engine mates with an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission system. The new gearbox pattern offers an improved gradeability to enable easier movement in steeper gradients. Its price range starts from Rs. 6.15 Lakh (ex-showroom). It permits users to customise its Super Carry mini truck depending on the particular applications. This new variant has a maximum payload capacity of 740 KG, while its CNG variant has 625 KG.

Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer In Marketing & Sales Department, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, cited, “The Super Carry has been accepted well in the commercial vehicle (CV) segment with more than 1.5 lakh units sold since its launch in 2016. The latest Super Carry will continue to offer value propositions to customers. We are confident that it will prove to be an ideal partner for our commercial customers and companion in their success.”
Maruti Suzuki India witnessed the sales of 157,959 units of Super Carry mini trucks from launch in September 2016 to end-March 2023. The new model features seat belt reminders, reverse parking sensors and front disc brakes. This carries a new engine immobiliser system and a larger steering wheel with lighter operations for better manoeuvrability. It continues to offer a spacious interior with a flat seat design for overall comfort during intermittent breaks. The Super Carry S-CNG model consists of a 5-litre emergency petrol tank.
