Maruti Brand launches New Eeco Van Model in 2022 With 13 Variants
The Latest Maruti Eeco Van is equipped with a 1.2 Litre K-series Dual VVT and a Dual Jet engine. Its petrol variant offers a power of 59.4kW at 6000 RPM and a torque of 104.4 NM at 3000 RPM.
For the first time in 2010, the Eeco van model came onto Indian roads. Maruti witnessed sales growth of over 1 lakh units within 2 years of the launch. In 2018, the Maruti Eeco van saw the first five lakh sales. It came to be considered one of the best-selling passenger vehicles for the financial year 2022. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer of the Marketing & Sales Department, Maruti Suzuki India Limited Company, said, “Since its launch, Maruti Eeco Van has been a preferred and proud alternative for more than 9.75 lakh owners in the previous decade and enjoys an unanimous leadership with 93% market share in its category.” Eeco van is a versatile multi-purpose model that comes with a powerful engine, improved mileage, and advanced features. He further said, “we believe that Eeco will continue to be top placed in the segment and will get more recognition from the market.”
Maruti Suzuki India Limited is a recognised brand which is considered the largest carmaker in India. On 22nd November 2022, this brand launched its new Maruti Eeco Van, which comes with 13 variants, including cargo, tour, ambulance, 7-seaters, and 5-seaters. The new Eeco van has a 1.2 L K-series Dual VVT (Variable valve timing) & Dual Jet engine. Its petrol engine generates 10% more power, up to 59.4kW at the rate of 6000 RPM and a maximum torque of 104.4 NM at the rate of 3000 RPM.
The petrol version of this new Maruti Van is a 25% more fuel-efficient vehicle that helps to deliver 20.20 kmpl mileage. On another side, the S-CNG version brings 29% more fuel efficiency and offers a maximum mileage of 27.05 km per kg. The price range of the latest Eeco model starts from Rs. 5.10 Lakh to Rs. 8.13 Lakh. The new model has value-added features like reclining front seats, driver-focused controls, cabin air filters (in AC Eeco Van), and a dome lamp with a new battery-saver function. It is equipped with 11 safety features, such as an engine immobiliser, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, an illuminated hazard switch, a child lock for sliding windows & doors, reverse parking sensors, etc. This new Eeco Van has a metallic brisk blue body colour, a new steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and rotary controls for AC & heater. With the in-cabin improvements in the petrol variant of the new Eeco Cargo, the cargo space is increased by 60 litres by consisting of a flat cargo floor in its cabin.
