Montra Electric Reaches Milestone with 5,000 Deliveries

The Montra Electric has achieved yet another important milestone by delivering 5,000 units of electric Super Auto passenger three-wheelers to its customers across 74 markets in 17 states. This comes just about a year after Montra Electric entered the fast-growing electric vehicle market in India and became part of Murugappa Group.

The segment of Indian electric three-wheelers is growing exponentially, with one out of every two three-wheelers sold in the country now being a zero-emission model. Montra Electric is gearing up fast to introduce eco-friendly passenger transport variants. 

Strong Performance in a Competitive Market

The parent company, TI Green Mobility, has performed well in the EV Industry. During April-October 2024, 3,056 units of Super Auto were sold. This is a brilliant feat considering that over 500 players exist within the industry competing against each other for a share of this growth spurt electric three-wheeler market.

The Montra Electric Super Auto stands out due to its innovative design, spacious interiors, and exceptional range. It has an ARAI-certified range of 203 kilometres, making it a reliable option for long-distance travel. The vehicle also features multi-drive modes, enhancing its energy efficiency and Park Assist Mode, allowing for smooth manoeuvring in congested city traffic.

In November 2023, the Montra Super Auto won the prestigious International Red Dot Design Award under the ‘Innovative Last Mile Mobility Electric Passenger Vehicle category. This recognition highlights Montra Electric’s commitment to high-quality design and innovation in the EV space.

Montra Electric offers two variants of the Super Auto: the ePV and ePV 2.0, each providing an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for urban transportation.

Expanding into the E3W Goods Carrier Market
