OSM Launches New Electric Commercial Vehicle With 1-ton Load Capacity

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has revealed its new small commercial vehicle named M1KA 1.0. The vehicle is 100% electric as the company plans to expand its vehicle portfolio. 

The images show that the vehicle looks robust and sturdy and has a high payload capacity of 1000 KG. The vehicle was revealed at the Auto Expo 2023, and some of its specifications were displayed. So here is a look at some of the features of this vehicle. 


The vehicle comes with a wheelbase of 3050 MM, with a front wheelbase of 1,410 MM. In addition, the vehicle's kerb weight is 1,320 MM and has a payload capacity of 1,000 KG. The vehicle is fitted with a 38.7 kWh battery capacity and a charger capacity of 6.6 kWh mated with an automatic transmission.

The vehicle can generate a peak torque of 80 NM and a high speed of 80 Km/h. According to the company, the fully charged range of this M1KA 1.0 is 150 KM, and it uses water cooling for the motor cooling method. 

If we look at the suspension systems of the vehicle, then we have some exciting specifications. It comes with a MacPherson Independent Suspension on the front side. In addition, the rear side has Non-independent 6-leaf spring top-mounted suspension. The braking system of this vehicle is normal; the front and rear sides of the brakes are Disc and Drum, respectively. The vehicle's steering system is based on electric power steering and has 185R14LT8PR.
