The truck sales data of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles has been released, and the Company has experienced a decline in the sales of August 2022. Volvo manufactures products in India with a partnership with Eicher Motors. Eicher Motors sold 3715 commercial vehicles in the domestic market with a slight rise of 1.11% in sales as total commercial vehicles sold in the same month last year were 3674 units.
The total sales of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles in August 2022 closed at 4,092 units, with a decrease of 10.38%. Whereas the total Eicher truck sales in India remained at 3,982 units, registering a 10.3% downfall as the units sold in August 2021 were 4,440.

According to the truck sales in India, the Company sold 2670 units of LMD(3.5T-15T) compared to the 2,919 units sold in August 2021, with a loss of 8.5%. On the other hand, Heavy Duty truck sales figure 2022 increased by 38% as the brand sold 1,045 units which were 755 units in the same month last year.
The Export truck sales report August 2022 also shows the same down run for Eicher Motors. The Company sold 223 units of Low and Medium Duty vehicles and witnessed a decline of 62.6% as the units sold in August 2021 were 597. And the Heavy Duty segment sustained sales of 44 units, whereas the Company sold 169 units in the same month last year and experienced a decrease of 74%.
In addition, Eicher Motors sold 267 units in export sales, with a decrease of 65.30% in sales as the Company sold 766 units in August 2021.
VECV truck sales statistics in 2022 show that the sales dipped by 12.70%. The venture sold 110 units, while in the sales of August 2021, they reached 126 units.
