VECV Truck Sales Report June 2023: Sold 4998 Commercial Vehicles

VECV Truck Sales In India Saw Sales of 4681 Units

VECV, the joint venture of Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks & Bus, has revealed its sales report for June 2023. And the brand has done exceptionally well in this last month. Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle Truck sales report for June 2023 highlights an overall growth of 1.30%. In June 2023, the Eicher truck sales in India stood at 4681 units against the 4323 sold in June last year. As a result, the venture did a sales growth of 8.28%. 

The total sales of Eicher Trucks in June 2023 were recorded at 4810 units, compared to the 4812 units in June 2022, resulting in a loss of 0.04%. In the LMD segment (3.5T-15T), Eicher motor truck sales figures for June 2023 showcased a growth of 2.10% in sales. 

The brand sold 2954 units of LMD vehicles in June 2022, which increased to 3017 units in June 2023. The Heavy Duty segment also shared growth of 21.50% by selling 1664 units in June 2023 against the 1369 units in June 2022.

The sales data for the export of the Eicher trucks also experienced a decline of 73.61%. The brand sold 129 units in export in June 2023, which was 489 units in June 2022. 

The LMD segment sold 113 units of commercial vehicles in June 2023 against 222 units in June 2022, decreasing by 49.10%. At the same time, the HD segment sold 16 units in the foreign market in June 2023, which was closed at 267 units in the same month last year. As a result, HD sales declined by 94.00.

The sales of Volvo Trucks closed with a hike of 54.10% in June 2023. The brand sold 188 units in June this year, which stayed at 122 units in the same month last year. The overall VECV sales were 4998 units in June 2023, registering a slight growth of 1.30%, as the sales figures in June 2022 were 4934 units.
