India's Leading CV Manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, Takes a Bold Step Towards an Eco-Friendly Future

In India's transportation industry, Ashok Leyland is leading in commercial vehicle manufacture. Ashok Leyland, the flagship of Hinduja Group, has marked a significant milestone by delivering the country's first liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered haulage truck – the AVTR 1922. This delivery was made to Mahanagar Gas Limited in Hosur, setting a new standard in the pursuit of sustainable & eco-friendly transportation solutions.

The AVTR 1922 marks a momentous occasion as Ashok Leyland becomes the first Indian Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Also, it comes with an in-house LNG engine compliant with BSVI Stage II emission standards. Furthermore, Ashok Leyland's latest achievement showcases its commitment to sustainable transportation and innovation.
