Ashok Leyland Recorded Sales of 11,169 Commercial Vehicles in the Domestic Market

Ashok Leyland, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India, has published its November 2024 sales report. The company sold 12,110 units of commercial vehicles in total, marking a 3% decline compared to November 2023. The domestic market showed a downturn, while export sales witnessed a significant surge.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland recorded sales of 11,169 units in November 2024, showing a 7% decline compared to 12,049 units sold in November 2023. However, export sales increased by 115%, with 941 units sold in November 2024 compared to 437 units in the same period last year.

The domestic sales of Ashok Leyland's commercial vehicles faced a downturn in November 2024.

M&HCV Segment : Sales dropped by 2%, with 6,609 units sold in November 2024, compared to 6,755 units in November 2023.

LCV Segment : The Light commercial vehicle category showed a 14% decline, with 4,560 units sold in November 2024, compared to 5,294 units sold in November 2023.

Overall, Ashok Leyland recorded total domestic sales of 11,169 units in November 2024, compared to 12,049 units in November 2023.

Ashok Leyland's Export Sales data for November 2024 Showed Remarkable Growth.

M&HCV Segment : Export sales in the Medium and Heavy duty commercial vehicle category surged by 200%, with 540 units sold in November 2024 compared to 178 units in November 2023.

LCV Segment : The LCV category also recorded a growth of 55%, with 401 units sold in November 2024 compared to 259 units sold in November 2023.

In total, Ashok Leyland exported 941 commercial vehicles in November 2024, marking a 115% growth compared to 437 units sold in November 2023.

Commercial Vehicle Gross (Domestic + Export) Sales Data November 2024

Ashok Leyland's overall commercial vehicle sales (domestic + export) for November 2024 showed a 3% decline.

M&HCV Segment : Sales increased by 3%, with 7,149 units sold in November 2024, compared to 6,933 units in November 2023.

LCV Segment : Sales dropped by 11%, with 4,961 units sold in November 2024, compared to 5,553 units in November 2023.

The total gross sales stood at 12,110 units in November 2024, compared to 12,486 units in November 2023.
