Hyundai Unveils Micro E-Three and Four-Wheeler Concepts
NEW DELHI: At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Hyundai Motor Company introduced its new concept models a micro electric three-wheeler and a micro electric four-wheeler. The event is being held from January 17 to 22 across Delhi and Greater Noida.
Collaboration with TVS for Last-Mile Mobility
Hyundai announced plans to partner with TVS Motor Company to create advanced last-mile mobility solutions. This collaboration aims to develop electric three-wheelers and micro four-wheelers tailored for Indian cities and villages.
According to Hyundai, the proposed three-wheeler will be co-developed with TVS, while the development of the micro four-wheeler is still under review. Hyundai will focus on design, engineering, and technology, while TVS will handle manufacturing and marketing.
Statements from Key Leaders
SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design, said, “By working with TVS, we aim to locally produce the three-wheeler and explore global opportunities for the four-wheeler. This will combine innovative functionality with the dynamic spirit of India.”
Sharad Mishra, President of Group Strategy at TVS, added, “This partnership is designed to develop next-generation mobility solutions that set new benchmarks in design, technology, and quality.”
India’s Largest Mobility Expo
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the largest mobility event in India. This year’s theme, "Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain," reflects the focus on innovation in the automotive sector.
The expo is spread across three venues: Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in Delhi, and India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida.
