Commercial Vehicle Retail Sales of July 2022 Up by 27.32%

SML Isuzu closed the sales of July’22 by rising 142.43%; Tata Motors stayed at the top with a 40% gain 

The Commercial Vehicle Sales data for July 2022 has been released by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) today. According to the reports, OEMs are taking good benefits while some companies fall short. The data show the commercial vehicle sales in India & overseas. 
The President of FADA, Mr. Vinkesh Gulati said, “CV retail figures continue to witness good demand as the Government's infrastructure push is helping customers in concluding their purchase.”

Brand-Wise Commercial Vehicle Sales Data:-

Some of the brands gained multiple folds in YoY sales, But some of the brands could not reach the state of crossing the sales of the similar period of the last month. Let’s check out the detailed and graphically represented data on sales. 

 Commercial Vehicle Sales Report July 2022    

Tata Motors:- 

Tata Motors, the giant of Indian commercial vehicles, closed the sales of July month with the highest gain. However, Tata stayed at the top of the table by selling 26,908 units of commercial vehicles, increasing 40.53% as compared to the 19,147 units in July 2021. 

Mahindra & Mahindra:- 

Mahindra & Mahindra completed the month with a 15.86% gain in the commercial vehicle sales of July 2022. The brand sold 16,478 units last month; the digits were 14,222 in July 2021. 

Ashok Leyland:-

Ashok Leyland, The Automaker flagship firm of the Hinduja Group, experienced steady sales growth in July. The sales numbers of the brand reached 9785. Ashok Leyland achieved an increase of 35.05% 

VECV:-

The joint venture arm of the Eicher group, The VECV (Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle), has also released the sales data for July 2022. The OEM has 4489 units with a 60.03% growth compared to the 2805 units in the same period last year. 

MARUTI SUZUKI:-

Maruti Suzuki lost 23.39% in July 2022, with sales of 2,784 units this July against the 3,634 units sold in July 2021. 

Force Motors:-

Force Motors is one of the most popular brands in the commercial cargo vehicle segment. The company has displayed growth of 50.81% as they sold 1,104 in July 2022, which is 732 units in July 2021.     

SML ISUZU:- 

SML Isuzu has experienced a growth of 142.43% in July 2022. Although the sales were 477 units last July, they reached 977 units this year. 

Daimler:- 

The Daimler group, which works in India as BharatBenz, closed their month with a 10.42% hike in the YoY sales of July. The company sold 777 last year, whereas July 2022 sales are 858 units. 

All the other commercial vehicle brands fell by 4.82% in the YoY sales of July. Last year the sold units were 3,232 units, this year it touched 3076 units.

Conclusion:-

The bumper growth in sales is on end, as the numbers are now being compared to the covid less the last year. And in that period sales were average.
