FADA 3-Wheeler Retail Sales Show 0.66% Increase in September 2024

In September 2024, there was a notable increase of 0.66% in the retail sales of FADA 3-wheelers, showing strong growth in the market.

As per the most recent FADA retail sales data for September 2024, the sales of 3-wheeler vehicles increased by 0.66%. TVS Motors achieved an impressive 41.28% growth in the market, with Mahindra & Mahindra Group seeing a significant 14.61% increase in sales.

FADA shared sales figures for 3-wheeler OEMs for Sep 2024, indicating a rise in sales for most brands. The group's total sales increased significantly to 106,524 units, up from the 105,827 units reported in Sep 2023. This signifies a significant increase of 0.66% in the 3-wheeler segment.

Brand Wise 3-Wheeler Sales Report Data for Sep 2024

Bajaj:

Bajaj is one of the top three-wheeler makers in the market. The September 2024 FADA report showed that Bajaj sold 37,425 units in September 2024, compared to 38,025 units in September 2023. As a result, the brand saw a drop of 1.58%.

Piaggio:

According to the FADA report on three-wheeler sales, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. experienced a 6.06% decrease in sales, selling 7,778 vehicles in September 2024 compared to 8,280 units in September 2023.

Mahindra: 

Mahindra experienced a 14.61% increase in retail sales in September 2024. To substantiate, it sold 5,860 units in September 2023, which increased to 6,716 in September 2024.

Y.C. Electric:

In September 2024, the Y.C. Electric brand sold 3,826 units, which was a decline compared to the previous year. This marked a 4.16% decrease from the 3,992 units sold in September 2023, indicating a slight drop in sales performance.

Mayuri:

This brand sold 2,514 three-wheelers in Sep 2024, compared to 3,140 units in the same month last year. Henceforth, Mayuri decreased its sales by 19.94%. 

Atul Auto: 

This 3-wheeler company's retail sales report increased by 0.93%. Atul Auto sold 2,182 units in Sep 2024, compared to 2,162 in Sep 2023.  

City life:

City life, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd., closed the month with a loss. The brand sold 2,097 commercial vehicles in Sep 2024, compared to 2,338 units in Sep 2023, experiencing a 10.31% sales dip.

TVS Motors:

TVS, a renowned manufacturer, also concluded the month with positive sales figures. The brand sold 2,009 three-wheelers in Sep 2024, compared to 1,422 units in Sep 2023, and generated 41.28% growth.

Mini Metro:

The retail sales statistics for September 2024 show that Mini Metro's sales decreased by 15.77%. They sold 1,175 units in September 2024, compared to 1,395 in September 2023.

Others Including EV

Every other company, including ENERGY ELECTRIC VEHICLES, UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL, HOSTAGE INDIA, and Others, including EV, experienced a combined sales increase of 4.05%. In September 2024, they sold 40,802 items, whereas in September 2023, they sold 39,213 units.
