Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions has announced a major international expansion with the launch of its first electric golf cart under a joint venture with the iconic Italian brand, Tonino Lamborghini. This Indo-Italian partnership marks Kinetic Green’s official foray into premium global electric mobility solutions.
With a target to enter 25 international markets and an ambitious revenue goal of $300 million over five years, the company is preparing to position itself as a key player in the global golf cart industry — a market estimated at $5 billion annually with nearly 500,000 units sold.
The joint venture is strategically designed to tap into the booming global demand for luxury electric mobility solutions.
The joint venture will manufacture these premium electric golf carts at a newly established facility in Supa, Maharashtra. This unit will also include a state-of-the-art experience centre and training academy. So far, $4–5 million has been invested in the project, with $2–3 million spent on core engineering. An additional $10 million is expected to be raised from Indian family offices to further scale production and product development.
Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions, said, “This partnership with Tonino Lamborghini is a strong step forward in placing India on the global electric mobility map. The global golf cart industry presents a unique opportunity beyond sports — from airports to resorts and smart campuses. We are bringing Italian design and Indian engineering together for a premium global product.”
She added, “The U.S. is a significant opportunity for us, especially as Chinese imports face tariff pressures. We believe this JV has the potential to redefine how electric golf carts are manufactured and marketed globally.”
Kinetic Green’s latest move reflects a strong commitment to premium electric mobility and global market integration. The strategic joint venture with Tonino Lamborghini aims to transform the electric golf cart space with high-quality, design-led solutions built in India and sold worldwide.
As the JV strengthens its global footprint, it stands poised to reshape the future of luxury low-speed electric mobility, starting from India and expanding across continents.
