TVS Motor Company recently launched the TVS King Kargo CNG HD in the Indian market on February 5. As per Autocar Professional, the introductory price of the CNG vehicle is Rs. 2,70,648 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new CNG cargo three-wheeler is designed for last-mile deliveries and daily transport operations.
The company aims to support small businesses and cargo operators who need a reliable vehicle for daily transport work. With this launch, TVS aims to strengthen its presence in the growing CNG cargo three-wheeler segment.
The company has started rolling out the vehicle in selected states. TVS plans to expand its availability based on demand. This new model is focused on better mileage, strong performance, and practical use for city transport.
The TVS King Kargo HD CNG 3W comes with a 301cc liquid-cooled engine. It produces 9 kW power and 22 Nm torque. As a result, drivers can carry goods smoothly even on congested city roads. In addition, the vehicle offers a top speed of around 62 km/h, which suits daily delivery operations.
The CNG vehicle also has good ground clearance of 235 mm and a stable suspension. Therefore, drivers can handle uneven roads without much trouble. The tight turning radius of 3,420 mm helps drivers move easily in narrow lanes and crowded markets.
The TVS company has also added fully rolling windows to improve cabin comfort. Moreover, the vehicle has a 6.6-foot load deck that allows operators to load different types of goods such as groceries, parcels, and hardware items.
Perhaps the biggest advantage comes from its CNG fuel option. It helps reduce running costs when compared to petrol vehicles. In addition, TVS offers a three-year / 1.5 lakh km warranty, which gives buyers peace of mind.
Official statement by Rajat Gupta, Business Head for Commercial Mobility, TVS Motor Company, said, “The TVS King Kargo HD CNG has been developed to address the real-world needs of last-mile cargo operators. With segment-first features, higher load capacity and focus on driver comfort, it enables customers to improve operational efficiency while reducing fatigue and overall cost of ownership.”
This launch matches the company’s focus on improving efficiency and reducing operational costs for commercial vehicle operators. TVS Motor Company runs manufacturing plants in India and Indonesia, and it sells its vehicles in more than 80 countries around the world.
