In November 2024, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Motors, achieved sales of 4,499 units, marking a 4.00% growth compared to the 4,333 units sold in November 2023. While domestic sales saw a modest increase, the export segment recorded impressive growth, reflecting the brand's expanding international presence.
Eicher commercial vehicles, a key component of VECV's sales portfolio, recorded a total of 4,284 units sold in November 2024. This represents a 4.00% increase over the 4,128 units sold in November 2023. The growth was driven by an uptick in the Low & Medium Duty (LMD) segment, offsetting the slight decline in the Heavy Duty (>18.5T) segment.
Overall, Eicher's domestic sales saw a slight increase of 1.00%, with a total of 3,980 units sold compared to 3,936 units in November 2023.
Eicher's export sales in November 2024 showed remarkable growth, with total exports reaching 304 units, a 58.00% increase from the 192 units sold in November 2023.
Volvo Truck sales in November 2024 stood at 215 units, reflecting a 5.00% increase from 205 units sold in November 2023.
The combined total for VECV, which includes both Eicher and Volvo truck sales, reached 4,499 units in November 2024, up 4.00% from 4,333 units sold in November 2023.
