Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles reported a steady performance in April 2026. The company recorded total sales of 5,248 units, showing a 15.8% growth compared to 4,534 units in April 2025. This growth came mainly from strong domestic demand.

Eicher CV Sales Support Growth
Eicher commercial vehicles played an important role in the company’s performance. Total Eicher CV sales reached 5,089 units, growing by 15.53% from 4,405 units last year. In addition, demand remained stable across different truck segments.
Segment-wise Eicher Performance
-
SCV/LMD Trucks (<18.5T): 3,243 units (17.9% growth)
-
Heavy Duty Trucks (≥18.5T): 1,516 units (14.9% growth)
The higher growth in SCV and LMD trucks shows rising demand for last mile and mid range transport.
Domestic Market Remains Strong
The domestic market continued to drive overall growth. Total domestic sales stood at 4,759 units, up 17.0% from 4,069 units in April 2025. As a result, local demand stayed strong and supported the company’s overall performance.
Mixed Export Performance
However, export numbers showed mixed trends. Total exports slightly declined to 330 units from 336 units, down by 1.8%.
Export Breakdown
-
SCV/LMD Exports: 226 units (-24.2%)
-
Heavy Duty Exports: 104 units (+173.7%)
While SCV exports dropped, heavy duty exports saw strong growth.
Volvo Trucks Show Improvement
Volvo Trucks recorded better performance in April 2026. Sales increased to 159 units from 129 units, showing a 23.3% growth.
Overall Performance Outlook
Overall, VECV maintained steady growth in April 2026. Although exports remained slightly weak, strong domestic demand and growth in Volvo trucks helped balance the performance. As a result, the company continues to show stable progress in the commercial vehicle market.
