VECV Truck Sales Rose by 20.61% in Oct 2023: Sold 6362 CV Units

Eicher Trucks sold 5997 units of Commercial vehicles, recording a 23.27% rise in the October Y-O-Y sales.

VECV, the joint venture of Volvo Trucks & Eicher Trucks, has experienced a hike in their Commercial Vehicle Sales. The total domestic sales of Eicher is 5997 units of CV in Oct 2023 against the 4865 units in Oct 2022. As a result, the brand closed the month with 23.27% growth in October Y-o-Y sales.

The total sales of Eicher VECVs in October 2023 were 6362 units, compared to 5275 units in October 2022. This resulted in a growth of 20.61% overall, including domestic and international sales.

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 3815 CV units in October 2023, which closed with 3346 CV units in October 2022. It resulted in a 14.01% growth in sales. In addition, the Heavy Duty segment grew by 43.64% in sales. This segment sold 2182 units of CVs in Oct 23, against the 1519 units of last October.

The sales of Volvo trucks took a giant leap, experiencing a growth of 63.80%. The sold units of this brand were 127 in October 2022, which ended October 2023 with 208 sold units.

The export Eicher Truck sales data for October 2023 shows a decline of 29.80%. The LMD segment completed sales of 146 CV units in October 2023, against the 208 CV units of October 2022.

On the other hand, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand also experienced a drop in sales. The segment sold 11 units of CV in exports in October 2023, which was 75 units in the same month last year. It resulted in an 85.30% fall in sales.

The export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for October 2023 showed sales of 157 CV units, against 283 units in October 2023. The sales dropped by 44.52% in October Y-o-Y.

In the overall VECV sales report for October 2023, 6,362 units were sold, compared to 5,275 in July 2022.
