Decent Mileage with Strong Performance
Before purchasing, I was a bit concerned about the mileage. But after using it for 2 months, I can say it gives me around 4.5 KMPL consistently on highway routes with moderate loads. For a 28-tonner, this is good. Engine sound is not too loud and gear shifts are smoother than older Tata models. Happy with the purchase.

We are using this truck for carrying food grains, and the loading-unloading process is hassle-free due to the truck’s design. Platform height is also ideal. Low Maintenance So Far
It’s been six months since we purchased the Ultra 2821.T, and till now, we haven’t faced any major maintenance issues. Just regular servicing and oil checks. Tata’s service center in Kanpur is also very supportive and quick. Earlier trucks used to give problems after 2-3 months, but this one is stable. We’re planning to get another one soon.

This truck helps us transport goods from Pune to Nashik almost daily. Fuel efficiency is decent considering the load we carry. What I like the most is how it picks up speed even when fully loaded. The steering is light and easy to manage in traffic. I also feel the brakes are very responsive. Our driver also says it feels more like a premium truck.

Spacious Cabin & Comfortable Ride
We bought this truck for transporting cement bags and the first thing I noticed was the cabin space. Two people can easily rest inside during waiting hours. The seats are adjustable and cushioned, and the visibility from the driver’s seat is excellent. Even on uneven roads, the shock absorbers handle things well. Tata has really worked on driver comfort in this one.

I have been driving the Tata Ultra 2821.T for the past 3 months, mostly on long highway routes between Gujarat and Rajasthan. It’s been performing smoothly, and the cabin comfort is next level. The AC keeps the cabin cool even during peak summer, and there’s hardly any vibration while driving. I feel less tired even after 10-12 hours on the road. Suspension is quite soft for a truck of this size.
