Retail sales of FADA 3 Wheelers saw a 9.27% increase in April 2024
As per the most recent FADA retail sales data for April 2024, sales of 3-wheeler vehicles have grown by 9.27%. TVS Motors is at the forefront of vehicle sales this month, showing an impressive 39.18% growth. Significantly, other companies, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, saw a notable increase in sales of 13.14%.
FADA released sales data for 3-wheeler original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in April 2024, showing positive sales growth across almost all brands. The segment's collective sales rose to 80,105 units, a substantial increase from the 73,310 units recorded in April 2023. This marks a notable 9.27% growth within the 3-wheeler category.

Bajaj
Bajaj is among the top three-wheeler OEMs in the market. The FADA three-wheeler report in April 2024 revealed Bajaj's sales of 29,932 units, up from 26,584 units in April 2023. Consequently, the brand experienced a growth rate of 12.59%.
Piaggio
As per the FADA report on three-wheeler sales, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. experienced a 4.04% decrease in sales, selling 5,886 vehicles in April 2024 compared to 6,134 units in April 2023.
Mahindra
Mahindra experienced a 9.69% decrease in retail sales in April 2024. To substantiate, it sold 4,222 units in April 2023, which decreased to 3,813 in April 2024.
Y.C. Electric
Y.C. Electric brand sold 2,938 units in April 2024, a 3.49% increase from the 2,839 units sold in April 2023.
Mayuri
This brand sold 1,966 three-wheelers in April 2024, compared to 1,856 units in the same month last year. Henceforth, Mayuri increased its sales by 5.93%.
Atul Auto
This 3-wheeler company's retail sales report increased by 12.73%. Atul Auto sold 1,762 units in April 2024, compared to 1,563 in April 2023.
Citylife
Citylife, also known as Dilli Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd., closed the month with a loss. The brand sold 1,610 commercial vehicles in April 2024, compared to 1,730 units in April 2023, experiencing a 6.94% sales loss.
TVS Motors
TVS, a renowned manufacturer, also concluded the month with positive sales figures. The brand sold 1,588 three-wheelers in April 2024, compared to 1,141 units in April 2023, and generated growth of 39.18%.
Mini Metro
The retail sales statistics for April 2024 show that Mini Metro sales dropped 7.23%. They sold 962 units in April 2024, compared to 1,037 in April 2023.
Others Including EV
Every other company, such as UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL, ENERGY ELECTRIC VEHICLES, and HOTAGE CORPORATION INDIA, experienced a combined increase in sales of 13.14%. In April 2024, they made a sale of 29,648 items, whereas in April 2023, they sold 26,204 units.
