India's three-wheeler retail market maintained positive momentum in May 2026, recording a 3.56% YoY increase. Growth was primarily driven by strong performances from Mahindra Group, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, TVS Motor, Piaggio Vehicles, Atul Auto, and Bajaj Auto.
However, declining sales among several EV-focused brands and the "Others Including EV" category highlight increasing competition and consolidation within the electric three-wheeler market.
Overall, the industry remains stable and competitive, supported by continued demand for passenger and cargo mobility solutions, along with the gradual adoption of electric three-wheelers across the country.
