November 1, 2026: Ashok Leyland, one of India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has announced its sales performance for October 2026. The company recorded 19,574 commercial vehicle (CV) sales, including domestic and export markets, registering a 28.7% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 15,212 units sold in October 2025. The growth was driven by strong demand across both the M&HCV truck and LCV segments.

Commercial Vehicle Domestic Sales – October 2026

Ashok Leyland’s domestic commercial vehicle sales stood at 18,680 units in October 2026, up 27.3% from 14,675 units sold during the same month last year.

Domestic Sales Highlights

M&HCV Trucks: 11,102 units, up 39% YoY from 7,972 units.
LCV: 7,578 units, up 13% YoY from 6,703 units.

Commercial Vehicle Export Sales – October 2026

The company exported 894 commercial vehicles in October 2026, compared to 537 units in October 2025, registering a 66.5% YoY growth.

Export Sales Highlights

M&HCV Trucks: 511 units, up 79% YoY from 285 units.
LCV: 383 units, up 52% YoY from 252 units.

Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales (Domestic + Export)

Including both domestic and export markets, Ashok Leyland’s total commercial vehicle sales reached 19,574 units in October 2026, compared to 15,212 units in October 2025. This reflects an overall 28.7% YoY growth.

Gross Sales Highlights

M&HCV Trucks: 11,613 units, up 41% YoY from 8,257 units.
LCV: 7,961 units, up 14% YoY from 6,955 units.

Strong Growth Across Domestic and Export Markets

Ashok Leyland recorded strong growth across its domestic and export businesses in October 2026. M&HCV truck sales led the growth, rising by about 41% YoY in gross sales, while LCV sales increased by about 14% YoY. Exports grew faster than the domestic business, rising 66.5% YoY. The strong performance reflects healthy demand across key commercial vehicle segments.
