October 2026 witnessed moderate growth in India’s combined commercial vehicle and three-wheeler retail market. Total sales increased 3.21% YoY to 2,56,560 units. Growth in the three-wheeler segment was primarily driven by passenger three-wheelers and goods carriers. The three-wheeler goods segment grew 25.42%, while passenger three-wheelers increased by 14.54%.
Within the CV segment, LCVs remained the highest-volume category but fell 9.57% YoY. HCVs recorded the highest growth among the major CV categories at 28.95%, while MCV sales increased by 21.16%.
