Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the EV division of the Jupiter Group, has launched the JEM TEZ, an advanced electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV). Alongside this, the company has inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Indore. The launch aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, aiming to boost domestic EV manufacturing and reduce import dependency.

The JEM TEZ is built to meet the evolving needs of urban freight transport. It is powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a 30.24 kWh capacity, delivering 80 kW power and 265 Nm torque.

Cutting-Edge EV Manufacturing Facility

Jupiter Electric Mobility has inaugurated a 2.5-acre manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Indore, equipped with an in-house skateboard platform and a vehicle assembly unit. The facility is designed to produce 8,000-10,000 e-LCVs annually, with plans for phased expansion based on market demand.
