Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the sale of 200,000 electric vehicles. As India’s leading commercial EV manufacturer, this accomplishment highlights MLMML’s commitment to providing sustainable transportation solutions and cutting-edge technology in the commercial vehicle space.
Key Milestones in the EV Segment
Mahindra has firmly established itself as a pioneer in electrification within the L5 segment. Moreover, electric vehicle penetration in this segment has surged significantly, rising from 7.6% in FY23 to 21.7% year-to-date in FY25, according to Vahan. Moreover, MLMML holds a dominant 41.2% market share in the L5 electric vehicle category, as reported by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
Furthermore, in the last 17 months alone, Mahindra sold over 100,000 electric vehicles, spurred by the launch of new products such as the Treo Plus, e-Alfa Plus, and Mahindra ZEO. These advanced vehicles have played a pivotal role in expanding Mahindra’s footprint in the last-mile mobility sector.
Expanding Product Portfolio and Manufacturing Capabilities
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has built a reputation for offering the widest range of electric commercial vehicles in the market. The product lineup includes the Mahindra Treo, e-Alfa, and Zor Grand three-wheelers. Moreover, to further strengthen its leadership, MLMML has introduced the Mahindra ZEO. This is a four-wheeler electric small commercial vehicle under 2 tons, which makes it a versatile solution for urban logistics.
To meet the growing demand for its electric vehicles, MLMML has significantly ramped up production across its manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad. This expansion ensures that Mahindra can continue to lead the market, supplying both innovative products and reliable after-sales services.
UDAY NXT Loyalty Program Launch
In celebration of this sales milestone, Mahindra has introduced an enhanced loyalty program, UDAY NXT, aimed at providing added value to its customers. As part of this initiative, vehicle buyers will receive a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes INR 20 lakh* driver accidental insurance cover. Additionally, it offers career counselling for children. Furthermore, business and finance advisory services are also provided to ensure a well-rounded support system for customers. This program underscores Mahindra’s commitment to supporting its customers beyond just vehicle sales.
