Propel Industries has introduced its new 470 eTR Electric Tractor Trailer at Bauma Conexpo India 2024. The truck was unveiled by Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma, Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, showcasing Propel’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics and construction industries.

Key Features of the 470 eTR Electric Tractor

Exceptional Range and Battery Options

The 470 eTR is powered by high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, offering a driving range of up to 350 km on a single charge. It comes with three battery configurations—385 kWh, 480 kWh, and 550 kWh—allowing businesses to choose based on their specific range and application needs. The fast-charging capability ensures a full charge in just 70 minutes (for the 385 kWh battery), reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

Powerful Performance

Equipped with a robust 350 kW electric motor, the 470 eTR generates 2600 Nm of torque. This makes it capable of handling heavy-duty tasks effortlessly. With a Gross Combination Weight (GCW) capacity of 55 tons, it is ideal for transporting large loads efficiently.

Zero Emissions

The 470 eTR guarantees zero tailpipe emissions, contributing to cleaner air and a healthier environment. This aligns with the growing demand for eco-friendly solutions in the transportation and construction sectors.

Tested for Reliability

Propel Industries has conducted over 1,20,000 cumulative testing hours on the powertrain and other components to ensure durability and minimal maintenance. The truck’s sturdy chassis and high-quality materials make it reliable for long-term operations.
