VE Commercial Vehicles Sells 5,526 Units in February 2024

In Feb 2024, Eicher Trucks saw a 1.21% Increase in year-over-year sales, with 5,348 units of Commercial Vehicles Sold

VEVC, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, saw a significant 0.97% increase in commercial vehicle (CV) sales for Feb 2024, with a total of 5,526 units sold as opposed to 5,473 units in February 2023.

From Feb 2024 to Feb 2023, Eicher Trucks' sales of commercial vehicles increased by 1.21% YoY. Domestic sales of Eicher vehicles for the brand saw a 0.82% rise, coming in at 5,135 units as opposed to 5,093 units in Feb 2023.

Segment-Wise Sales

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 3,274 CV units in Feb 2024, which closed with 3,212 CV units in Feb 2023. It resulted in a 1.90% rise in sales.

In addition, the Heavy Duty segment dropped by -1.10% in sales. This segment sold 1,861 units of CVs in Feb 2024, compared to 1,881 units last February.

The LMD segment of Export Eicher Truck sales data for Feb 2024 shows an increase of 11.60%. This segment completed sales of 183 CV units in February 2024, compared to 164 CV units in February 2023.

However, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand experienced an increase in sales. The segment sold 30 units of CV in exports in Feb 2024, compared to 27 units in the same month last year. It resulted in an 11.10% rise in sales.

Overall, the Export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for Feb 2024 showed sales of 213 CV units against 191 units in Feb 2023. The sales increased by 11.52% in Feb Y-o-Y.

Volvo Truck Performance

Volvo Trucks experienced a decline of 5.80%, selling 178 units in Feb 2024, up from 189 units in Feb 2023.

Overall, VECV, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, sold 5,526 CV units in Feb 2024. The brand recorded an increase of 0.97%, as the number of units sold in Feb 2023 was 5,473.
