Ashok Leyland recently announced its sales data for June 2024. The company achieved sales of 12,910 units of CVs, with a decrease of 3.19% in sales in both domestic and export markets.

Ashok Leyland recorded sales of 12,626 commercial vehicles in the Domestic market.

Ashok Leyland, the top manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India, unveiled its June sales figures. The data indicates a decrease of 3.19% in overall sales in both domestic and export markets.

In June 2024, the company's domestic commercial vehicle sales declined by 3.39%, with 12,626 units sold as opposed to 13,069 units sold. The number of export units sold rose by 6.37% from June 2023 to June 2024, with 284 units sold compared to 267 units in the prior year.

The M&HCV truck industry in June 2024 showed a decrease of 7%. It reported sales of 7,417 units, in contrast to 7,980 units in June 2023. Therefore, this CV producer experienced a fall in sales.

Furthermore, its LCV category again experienced a 2% rise in sales. The brand sold 5,209 LCVs in June 2024, compared to 5,089 in June 2023. The Total Ashok Leyland Domestic CV Sales Report segment sold 12,626 units in June 2024, compared to 13,069 units in June 2023.

According to the June 2024 Export CV Sales Statistics for Ashok Leyland, sales increased significantly by 6.37%. In June 2024, 284 units were sold, more than the 267 units sold in June 2023.

Further, the LCV category reported sales of 212 units in June 2024, compared to 170 units in June 2023. The brand recorded impressive sales growth of 24.71% in this category.

However, it experienced a sales decline of 25.77% in the M&HCV category. Under the M&HCV vehicles, the company sold 72 units in June 2024, compared to 97 units in June 2023.

In June 2024, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 3.19% decrease in Gross CV Sales, including a 7% decline in M&HCV categories and a 3% gain in LCV.

For Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, 12,910 units were recorded in June 2024, compared to 13,336 in June 2023. Additionally, under the M&HCV Truck category, 7,489 CVs were sold in June 2024, compared to 8,077 CVs in June 2023. Within the LCV category, 5,421 CVs were sold in June 2024, compared to 5,259 CVs in June 2023.
