Tata Motors Reports Selling 31,980 Commercial Vehicles in June 2024

Tata Motors revealed its sales figures for June 2024. The total sales of commercial vehicles for the brand dropped by 7.00%, totalling 31,980 units in June 2024 compared to the previous 34,314 units.

The brand's passenger carriers and CV export segments performed strongly in the month prior. Passenger Carriers saw a growth spurt of 18.00%, exceeding the 16.00% growth of CV Exports and establishing themselves as the top performers.

Tata Motors, an Indian top producer of commercial vehicles, disclosed its sales figures for June 2024. The company's domestic CV sales decreased by 8.00%. In June 2023, 33,148 commercial vehicles (CVs) were sold, but the number dropped to 30,623 units in June 2024.

On the other hand, sales for CVs decreased by 7.00% overall. Sales in this particular category dropped from 34,314 in June 2023 to 31,980 in June 2024.

Tata Motors' HCV ((Heavy Commercial Vehicles) category saw an 8% loss in June 2024 sales. The brand sold 8,891 units last month, compared to 9,625 units in June 2023.

ILMCV Category (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles)

The sales of Tata Motors' ILMCV (Intermediate, Light & Medium Commercial Vehicles) segment recorded a major 6.00% increase in June 2024. The brand had 4,997 sales units in June 2024, compared to 4,723 in June 2023.

Passenger Carriers (PC) Category

The brand's Passenger Carrier section has become a constant gainer. Tata Motors sold 5,654 passenger carrier units in June 2024, compared to 4,810 in June 2023. As a result, the sales numbers surged by 18.00%.

SCV Cargo and Pickup

Tata has a good market share in the small commercial vehicle cargo and pickup segment. Furthermore, the brand experienced a 21.00% sales loss in June 2024. In June 2023, the brand sold 13,990 units of SCV and Pickup, which decreased to 11,081 units in June 2024.

CV Exports

The brand's export sales performance increased by 16% in June 2024. The brand sold 1,166 units of CV in June 2023, which increased to 1,357 units in June 2024.
