VE Commercial Vehicles Records 5,355 Units Sold in June 2024

VECV sales rose 7.14% in June 2024. Combined domestic and export sales, 5,355 VECVs were sold in June 2024.

Eicher Trucks' sales increased by 9.04% in June 2024, with 5,245 commercial vehicles sold compared to the previous year.

VEVC, a partnership of Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, experienced a 7.14% rise in commercial vehicle (CV) sales, with 5,355 units sold compared to 4,998 units in June 2023.

In June 2024, Eicher Trucks experienced a 9.04% surge in commercial vehicle sales over June 2023. Eicher vehicles experienced a 4.51% increase in domestic sales, reaching 4,892 units from 4,681 units in June 2023.

Segment-Wise Sales:

The LMD (3.5-15T) segment sold 3,101 CV units in June 2024, which closed with 3,017 CV units in June 2023. This resulted in a 2.78% rise in sales.

In addition, the Heavy Duty segment's sales also increased by 7.63%. This segment sold 1,791 units of CVs in June 2024, compared to 1,664 units last June.

The LMD segment of Export Eicher Truck sales data for June 2024 shows an increase of 157.52%. This segment completed sales of 291 CV units in June 2024, compared to 113 CV units in June 2023.

Additionally, the HD or heavy-duty segment of the brand also saw an increase in sales. In June 2024, the segment sold 62 units of commercial vehicle in exports, compared to 16 units in the same month last year, a 287.50% gain.

Overall, the Export Eicher Truck Sales statistics for June 2024 showed sales of 353 CV units, compared to 129 units in June 2023. The sales increased by 173.64% year over year.

Volvo Truck Performance:

Volvo Trucks experienced a 41.49% dip, selling 110 units in June 2024, up from 188 units in June 2023.

Overall, VECV, the joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, sold 5,355 CV units in June 2024. The brand recorded an increase of 7.14%, as the number of units sold in June 2023 was 4,998.
