Handles Hills and Rough Roads with Ease
Our construction site is located in a hilly region of Himachal, and the Tata Prima 2830.K is doing a great job climbing slopes. We load it fully, but still, there’s no power lag. Suspension setup is very durable, and tyres also give good grip on mud roads. The turning radius is manageable for a big truck. A little more ground clearance would be appreciated, but overall it's a beast.

Fuel Tank Capacity is a Big Plus
The 300-litre fuel tank is a great advantage for us. We don't have to refuel again and again while transporting material from the hills to city yards. It saves a lot of time and helps with efficiency. The cabin is neat, and features like mobile charging and adjustable seats make life easier for the driver. We've had no major issues in the first 6 months of ownership.

Impressive Mileage for a Heavy-Duty Truck
We were honestly not expecting good fuel economy from such a big truck, but we are getting between 2.75 to 3.75 KMPL, depending on the route. This has helped us manage our diesel costs better. Compared to our older tipper, this Tata Prima 2825.K/.TK Tipper is definitely more efficient and doesn’t feel like it’s guzzling fuel.

Rugged Truck for Daily Heavy Loads
We bought the Tata Prima 2825 for our construction business, and it’s doing the job perfectly. The 28,000 kg GVW gives us a lot of flexibility to carry different types of materials without worry. We bought the Tata Prima 2830.K tipper mainly for our mining operations, and it has been performing solidly since day one. The build quality is very strong, and the cabin is also better than other trucks in this range. It gives a bold and premium feel. Even in tough terrain, it doesn't feel underpowered.

Very Reliable for Overburden Work
I am using this tipper at a coal transportation site in Jharkhand, and reliability is the main reason I went for Tata Prima. Even with continuous 12-14 hours of operation, the truck handles loads without overheating or any issues. The Cummins engine is really powerful, and the brakes are very effective on inclines. We got it for around ₹56 lakh on-road including body customization. Worth every rupee.
