The Alfa Dx Duo body is built to handle city roads, regular wear and tear, and daily usage. The mirrors are now larger and rectangular, which actually improves rear visibility a lot. Drivers can easily check the back view while turning or reversing, making daily rides safer.

One small but important update is the pressure protection cover on the CNG cylinder. It’s a smart addition for extra safety, especially when carrying passengers or driving in busy city areas. Another plus is the long wheelbase of 2030 mm, which gives better balance while moving and adds to the vehicle’s stability.

The Alfa Dx Duo comes with a new seat setup—a single seat for the driver and a double bench for passengers. This layout gives a bit of extra comfort and space, especially for short trips in the city. Though the design is not premium, the seats feel supportive enough for both the driver and the passengers.

The dashboard area is basic but well-placed. Controls are within easy reach. While the materials used are basic, they are functional and easy to clean, which is ideal for a commercial vehicle.

The Alfa Dx Duo is powered by a 395 cm³ engine that offers 7 kW of peak power and 23 Nm of torque. The vehicle picks up well, even when it’s carrying full load or navigating through narrow streets.

Thanks to the dual fuel technology, the driver has the flexibility to switch between CNG and petrol, depending on what’s available. This reduces fuel worries and also saves money in the long run. The 40-liter CNG cylinder and 2.9-liter petrol tank together offer solid range. So even if you don’t get a refill during the day, you don’t have to worry too much.

Safety is where Mahindra has made a few thoughtful changes in this model. The hydraulic drum brakes offer good stopping power and are reliable on crowded roads. The suspension setup—with coil springs in the front and rubber springs at the rear—helps to reduce bumps and keeps the ride steady, even on uneven roads.

The vehicle also has 175 mm ground clearance, which helps in avoiding speed breakers or potholes. While this is decent, more clearance would have been even better, especially for rougher routes.

One safety upgrade worth mentioning again is the CNG pressure protection cover. It’s a simple but effective feature that adds peace of mind.

However, what could be improved is the option of adding basic safety belts or grab handles for passengers, especially in longer journeys or hilly routes.
